Sale of parsonage benefits first responders

After the recent sale of St. Paul Lutheranís parsonage, the congregation wanted to show their support and appreciation to Remsen First Responders with a small donation. The Remsen Police Department, Remsen Fire Department and Remsen Ambulance Service all received a $500 donation on behalf of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

St. Paul Lutheran Church's Council President Dave Sanow presented the checks for each department at their respective meetings.

Remsen EMT Talon Penning accepted the $500 check on behalf of the ambulance department.

Remsen Fire Chief Chris Frederes accepted the $500 check on behalf of the fire department.

St. Paul Lutheran Church felt that each department needed to be recognized for their service and to be thanked for their dedication to our town. You never know when you will need their help, and we are blessed as a community to have so many great people willing to sacrifice their time with family to come to help us in our time of need.
