Leusink sentenced to 40 years

Former Plymouth County Sheriff’s Deputy Aaron Leusink hugs his wife April before returning to the Le Mars Jail. Leusink was sentenced to 40 years in prison for his involvement in a string of burglaries in which he stole prescription drugs from the sheriff’s office, pharmacies and private residences within the county. He pleaded guilty to the 11 counts against him on April 12, 2022.
