Taking the Oath

Le Mars Fire-Rescue/Emergency Services held an oath of office/badge pinning ceremony for its new Battalion Fire Chiefs and new firefighter/EMS providers on Tuesday morning at city hall. Mayor Dick Kirchoff administered the oaths of office to Battalion Chiefs Ethan Mitchell, Brandon Pollema and John MacGregor, as well as firefighter/EMS providers Jared Kunkel, Jacob Manley and Marcus Pfeifer. Each first responder chose a family member to pin their badge following the oath.
