Writer’s workshop offered Thursday with LCHS grad
LE MARS — The Le Mars Public Library will host a virtual writers workshop with Iowa writer and Le Mars Community graduate, Rena Olsen on Thursday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m.
Olsen is a writer, therapist, teacher, sometimes singer, and eternal optimist. By day she tries to save the world as a school therapist, and at night she creates new worlds in her writing. Her debut novel, “The Girl Before,” a Booklist top mystery debut of 2016, and her follow-up novel, “With You Always,” are available where books are sold and at the Le Mars Public Library.
Olsen will work with the group over Zoom on the basics of writing, plus give writing tips and answer questions.
This workshop is free and open to the public. You can reserve your spot at the workshop be registering on the library’s website, if space remains, the seats will be available on first come, first serve basis.
