Hoppe, Skuodas named NAIA Scholar-Athletes

SIOUX CITY — Brenick Hoppe of Le Mars and Wyatt Skuodas of Hinton, members of the Morningside University men’s wrestling team, were named Scholar-Athletes by the NAIA.

In order to qualify for the NAIA scholar athlete program, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5, appear on a sport’s eligibility certificate, and have attended one full year at the current institution.

Skuodas and Hoppe were among the five Mustangs recognized.
