Iowa Pepsi USBC Youth Districts 2023

The Pepsi Tournament is an annual tournament, sponsored by Pepsi-Cola, for all USBC Youth sanctioned bowlers throughout the United States.

Maple Lanes Bowl had qualifying during league play and 55 bowlers advanced to Districts, which was held at Sweet 16 Lanes in Le Mars, on February 18 and 19. At Districts all bowlers are in divisions according to their age and gender. This tournament is scratch bowling with no handicap.

Owen Klein bowled a 309-placing first at District.

Jace Knudson bowled a 246-placing second at District.

There was a tie for first place. Berkley Klein and Peyton Money bowled a 203 - placing first at District.

Blaine Ortmann bowled a 367 - placing third at District.

District Tournament Results in the Girl’s 10 & Under

KyLeigh Pottebaum bowled a 277 - placing first at District.

Graycen Ruden bowled a 265 - placing second at District.

Juliann Mohning bowled a 387 - placing second at District.

Mia Matgen bowled a 498 - placing third at District.

Colbey Penning bowled a 690 - placing second at District.

Austin Klein bowled a 682 - placing third at District.

Carver Miller bowled a 664 - placing sixth at Districts.

Owen Klein, Berkley Klein, Peyton Money, and KyLeigh Pottebaum will receive a $50 scholarship, from Nationals, for placing first at Districts.

State Competition will be held at Cedar Rapids Bowling Center, in Cedar Rapids, on March 18 and 19.
