Floyd Valley Foundation to host First Annual Women’s Evening Out

LE MARS - Join the Floyd Valley Foundation for the First Annual Women’s Evening Out at the Willow Creek Golf Course Banquet Hall on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Doors will open at 6:00 pm to give attendees the opportunity to visit women’s health and other informational booths, while enjoying gourmet appetizers and beverages. Individual seats ($35 per person) or tables of 8 ($280) can be reserved beginning Feb 13. Due to limited space, tickets will not be sold at door. At 7:00 pm, Dr. Destiny Miller will be kicking off the evening with a presentation on the aesthetic treatments at Floyd Valley Healthcare. Dr. Miller began offering aesthetic treatment as part of her practice in spring of 2022. She will be presenting the various options available with her practice such as Botox, chemical peels, dermal fillers, and microdermabrasion/microneedling.

National speaker Beth Shelton with be the keynote. She will deliver the authentic message “When Life Gives you Lemons.” Beth’s humorous and storytelling delivery will focus on real-life challenges in life and leadership with a blend of inspiring wins and takeaways. Beth is a chief executive officer of Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa. She has received accolades for her vision and innovation and was highlighted recently on platforms ranging from Good Morning America, CNN and Working Mother Magazine to The Washington Post, USA Today and the Today Show. She was recently named one of the 15 People to Watch by the Des Moines Register.

“We are very excited to be hosting this 1st annual community event that not only raises funds for the Foundation, but increases awareness of services at Floyd Valley Healthcare.
