MMCRU FFA Seniors and Ag Leadership Students attended the Iowa Agribusiness Association Career Show Wednesday, February 15, in Des Moines. FFA members listened to speaker Mike Gaul from Iowa State University Career Services regarding prospecting jobs and careers in the agriculture field. A panel of Raelene Maas, Don Sobaski, and Alison Blommers from Corteva talk about getting a job/what to do in an interview. Speaker Will McLaughlin talked about time management as a student athlete at Iowa State also pursuing an agriculture degree. FFA member Sophie Hohbach took away from the speakers “to work hard, read more, and GSD, which stands for Get Stuff Done.” Members toured around the Career Show with over 50 companies.
