Le Mars bowling teams outscore SB-L

LE MARS The Le Mars Community bowling teams hosted Sergeant Bluff-Luton in Missouri River Activities Conference play on Tuesday and picked up a pair of wins.

It was a margin of exactly 1,000 for the Le Mars girls as they put up a total of 3,001. The Bulldogs had the top five individual scores on the leaderboard. Emily Peters had the top series score with a 486. Her top game score was a 243, four behind the top game from Bailey Gill, who was next with a series score of 432. Natalie Vanderloo added similar games of 206 and 202 to finish third with a 408 series.

Trinity Brunsting rolled a 371 and Brooklyn Bockelman added a 363 as the final two scores included in the team score.

The team totaled a 941 in their five Baker games for an average of 188.2 per game.

The Le Mars boys won by a score of 2,998-2,679 over the Warriors.

Sebastian MacGregor had the high series total of the day for the Bulldogs with a 442. Teammate Caden Wurth and SB-L bowler Maddox Muston tied for the second-best score of the day. They each tallied a 429.

Le Mars had the next two scores on the leaderboard. Taylor Roberts finished with a 411 and Trevor Fisher added a 369. The Warriors took the next two spots with a 358 from Sam Larimer and a 344 from Noah McClure.

Le Mars completed their varsity six with a pair of 338 scores from Noah Venteicher and Caiden Heitritter. The last two counting scores for the Warriors were a 327 from Colton Dimick and a 314 from Hunter Echter.

The Bulldogs had a 1,009 total in their Baker games for an average of 201.8 per game.

The Le Mars teams improved to 4-0 with the wins.
