Diane Kuecker, 73, of Le Mars, died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2022, at her home in Le Mars surrounded by her family.
Diane Lynn Andersen, the daughter of Arland and Irene (Rion) Andersen, was born Feb. 27, 1949, in Sioux City. She attended school in Sioux City and graduated from Central High School.
She was united in marriage to Loren Kuecker on March 29, 1969, at Our Saviorís Lutheran Church in Sioux City. Following their marriage, they made their home in Thermopolis, Kirby, and Worland, Wyoming. Diane was a homemaker for her family. In 1986, they moved to Le Mars.
Diane enjoyed crocheting and scrapbooking. Her family was her greatest joy, she loved spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Loren Kuecker of Le Mars; three sons: David (Marsha) Kuecker of Le Mars, Daniel (Tanya) Kuecker of Le Mars, and Benjamin Kuecker of Brunsville; six grandchildren: Zerick Kuecker, Samantha Suydam, Colt Kuecker, Cody Kuecker, Duncan Kuecker, and Cheyenne Kuecker; six great-grandchildren; her sister, Lynette Johnson of Le Mars; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Dennis Andersen and Alan Andersen; and a sister, Lisa Andersen.
Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. Pastor Luke Cargin of the Le Mars Church of Christ will officiate.
Visitation with the family present will be from 5-7 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 6, at Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars.
