Kingsley-Pierson softball beats Lawton-Bronson, Pocahontas Area

The Kingsley-Pierson softball team earned a pair of wins on Monday and Tuesday.

KINGSLEY ó The Panthers came away with a 12-0 win over Western Valley Conference foe Lawton-Bronson on Monday in four innings.

Hannah Koch pitched the complete game win. She didnít allow a hit although the Eagles did get a few baserunners on with a pair of walks and a hit batter. Koch struck out two.

She was able to help her own cause at the plate with a team-high 4 RBI game. She had a single and double and also reached on an error in the contest.

Kenzie Beeson had the other multi-hit game with two singles as she ended with 2 RBI. Avery Schroeder and Reagan Vos added an RBI each for the team.

K-P moved to 9-5 with the win while L-B fell to 0-14 with the loss.

POCAHONTAS ó The Panthers won 3-2 over Pocahontas Area in a non-conference game Tuesday.

The Panthers got six hits from six different players. Hannah Koch hit a double while the other five hits were all singles coming from Avery Schroeder, Reagan Vos, Makenna Bowman, Jorja Howe and Chloe Peschau.

The team added two walks and also reached on an error and hit batter in the game.

Koch pitched the complete game win as she ended with four strikeouts.

K-P improved to 10-5 with the win. Pocahontas Area fell to 6-10 with the loss.
