MMCRU softball 2020 season recap

This season, the MMCRU softball team endured an 0-4 start and a two-week layoff because of COVID-19 to upset rival Remsen St. Mary’s in the first round of regionals. The Royals finished with a record of 4-7 while going 3-4 in War Eagle Conference play. The Royals had four seniors this summer with Kaelee Letsche, Faith Olson, Nicole Specht and Haley Schwarz graduating off this year’s roster. The team was coached by head coach Kayla Means and assistant coach Lisa Spieler.
