An Appreciation Coffee was held for Norine Harvey on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. at Three Sisters' Bistro in Remsen. Many members of the community stopped by to thank Norine for all she has done with St. Mary's Schools and Parish for the past 16 years.

Friends set up a display with a number of papers showcasing much of Norine's accomplishments and programs she has helped and taken part in over the years. Also, one sheet listed Football (Mania) Madness Profits (in cooperation and with appreciation for all who sold and bought tickets from 2004-20180, which ended up being a grand total of $213,956.00. One paper also listed the numerous grants and their amount totals that Norine has secured for the school over the years. Norine has initiated and implemented many programs for the school/church. Those include Football Madness, Fund-A-Cause Reverse Auction, Name the Gym Auction, Preschool Birthday Cards, Graduates Faith Tool Kits, Funeral Memorial Bears, Stain Glass Window Bookmarks, Baptism Book Gift, TK-K Roundup Gift Bags/Baskets, Catholic Schools Week Bell Page, and Volunteer of the Year during Catholic Schools Week.

Norine's family has a long tradition with St. Mary's, as she and twelve of her siblings graduated from Remsen St. Mary's High School.

Norine was very grateful to all that came and took part in the Appreciation Coffee, "It was a special time and a memory, like many over the past 16 years, that I gratefully cherish."
