Junior Faith Olson said, “Overall, I’d say our season went really well. We were a young team and we will have a lot of returning talent for next year. We had our ups and downs all throughout the season and the season didn’t end how we wanted it to. However, we will work hard in the offseason to get to where we want to be next season. The most memorable moment for me this year is when we beat Cherokee one set in the Alta-Aurelia tournament.”
Madison Treinen, a senior, said, “The season overall was good. We had a lot of fun and my favorite part of the season was all of the awkward moments. Also I want to give a big shoutout to our sports dad, Shane Bork, for bringing us all Burger Barn shakes after our win against RSM.”
Head coach Heather Youde said, “Overall, I thought we had a good season. We finished 10-15, which is one of the best records we have had in a long time. We were able to run high end offenses because of the girls’ skill levels. I am very excited to see how far I can push this team as they accomplished everything I threw at them this season.”
Good job on a great season Royals!
