The building project of the Remsen Farmers Coop office/storage area has been coming along nicely since the start of the demolition back on March 26, 2018.

As of Monday, August 6, 2018, according to Jared Ehrp, General Manager of Remsen Farmers Coop, “The project is approximately two weeks from completion. The office furniture is being put in place and a few small items will be wrapped up by the end of this week. The project started at the end of March with the demolition of the old office and wooden elevator complex which took around two weeks. The next phase was site preparation which entailed taking out the old basement, pouring the walls and floor, and preparation of utilities. Everyone involved in the project have done an excellent job adhering to the time table that we set before the starting. We planned to be in the new office around mid-August which allows us to get our servers back online and work through any issues that inevitably come up with a project of this size. The new office will allow Grain, Feed, and Agronomy to be located in one area which will greatly increase our ability to communicate with both our staff members and the customers we serve.”
