MMCRU/RSM bowling teams each win by over 1,000
REMSEN ó The MMCRU/RSM bowling teams dominated West Sioux on Tuesday, January 30, with each match having a margin of victory of over 1,000.
The boys team won 2,737-1,709 as all six bowlers for the team had better scores than the best West Sioux bowler. Cody Dias had the best game and series scores for the team with a top game score of 215 and series of 396. Drew Pierce had the only other game score above 200 as he finished with a 210 in his second set. He ended third on the team, just three pins behind Cam Miller with a 377. Millerís 380 score was made up of a pair of identical 190 games.
Mitch Rhodes ended with a 358 and Ethan Riedemann a 324 to round out the counting scores for the team.
The West Sioux girls were hurt by having just three of their six spots in the lineup filled, leading to a 2,209-1,163 win for MMCRU/RSM.
Hailey Klein led the team with a 381 series score as her 192 game was best on the day. Bailey Penning rolled a 320 for the next-best score and the only other finish above 300. Megan Wurth had a consistent set of games with 145 and 146 to end with a 291.
Katlin Harvey and Victoria Kollbaum rounded out the counting scores at 260 and 215, respectively.
