Le Mars Lady 'Dogs are sixth grade volleyball champs

(Photo contributed) HULL -- The sixth grade first year Le Mars Lady 'Dogs volleyball team recently won the championship at a tournament held in Hull. To take the win, they competed against Tri County attack, Spirit Lake Black, Sioux Center Blue, Trinity Christian and the NWI Tsunamis. The Lady 'Dogs are coached by Mary Mcquillen and Michelle Koonce. The team will now compete at a volleyball state championship tournament. Date and location for the event are yet to be determined.
