**Weekly Wrap Up:**
Spot market ethanol prices this week were mostly $.02-.05 higher. Prices
increased as the week progressed. Moderate demand was reported. U.S. ethanol
manufacturing decreased this past week, sinking output to historically lower
levels. Coupled with dismal manufacturing, ethanol imports also decreased by an
average of 58,000 barrels per day. Although there was a reduced supply, ethanol
reserves increased to 20.5 million barrels.
Bio-Energy Report Notes:
Protein content 28-30% for most distiller grains on a dry matter basis.
Modified Wet Distillers Grain is a partially dried product. Wet Distillers
Grain is a non-dried product. Distillers corn oil is intended for animal feed
or biofuel and is not Generally Regarded As Safe (GRAS) for human consumption.
It may also be referred to as inedible crude corn oil or crude corn oil.
