Amanda Jo Feris and Andrew Gene Claussen, of Waukee, were united in marriage Jan. 5, 2013, at home plate of Turner Field Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. Judge Gary Jackson officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony.
Amanda is the daughter of Ed and Lynne Miner, of Waukee. Andrew is the son of Terry and Lori Claussen, of Le Mars.
Karey Anderson, of Clive, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ali Miner, of Waukee, Lori Nore, of West Des Moines, Lindsey Elder, of Des Moines, Nikki Sitzmann, of Le Mars, and Savannah Herr, of Des Moines.
Junior bridesmaid was Josie Ocheltree, of Adair.
Tim Claussen, of Cedar Falls, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Downing, of West Des Moines, Cody Bauer, of West Des Moines, Scott Schwarz, of Clive, Nate Miner, of Waukee, Sean Nore, of West Des Moines, and Tyler Penning, of Des Moines.
Flowergirls were Addison Feris, daughter of bride, Mia Ocheltree, cousin of bride, and Madison Claussen, niece of the bridegroom.
Amanda received her bachelor of arts degree in sociolgy from Drake University. She is employed at Woodward Academy as a resident counselor in Woodward,.
Andrew received his bachelor of arts degree in finance from the University of Northern Iowa. He is employed as a senior transitions consultant in ING Company in Des Moines.
The couple took a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico. They are at home in Waukee.
