LE MARS -- The Le Mars varsity boys bowling team earned a decisive win over West Sioux and Siouxland Christian at the Sweet 16 Lanes last Thursday.
The Bulldogs scored 2423, more than 450 points ahead of West Sioux's boys and nearly 700 points ahead of Siouxland Christian.
West Sioux scored a total of 1962 for the day, and Siouxland Christian tallied 1747 overall.
For LCS, Brock Hofland led with a 369 series, rolling consistent games of 189 and 180 for the day. His 189 was the high game for the tourney.
Matt Hystad followed up with a 327 series for the 'Dogs, bowling games of 169 and 158.
Andrew Heffner bowled a 313 series for LCS with games of 154 and 159.
Dom Castle had a 296 series with games of 149 and 147, and Austin DuBrall bowled a 286 series with games of 141 and 145.
Gabe Jensen had the Bulldogs' non-counting series with 270, rolling games of 148 and 122.
LCS rolled an 832 in the Baker Round for the win.
For West Sioux, the team's high series went to Dalton Anema with a 357. He bowled games of 187 and 170.
Siouxland Christian's high series was bowled by Quinn Newton with 295. He rolled games of 136 and 159.
West Sioux had 721 points in the Baker Round and Siouxland Christian tallied 604.
