Nick and Alisha Schreiner

Alisha Gengler, of Merrill, and Nick Schreiner, of Remsen, were united in marriage Aug. 4, 2012, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen. The Rev. William McCarthy officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Alisha is the daughter of Larry and Sue Gengler, of Merrill. Nick is the son of Bill and Shannan Schreiner, of Remsen.

Simon Pick was organist and soloist was Jacob Ahlers.

Matron of honor was Jennifer Ahlers. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Gengler and Kari Gengler, sisters-in-law of the bride, Allison Schreiner, sister of the bridegroom, Alyssa Carlson, cousin of the bride, and Amy Schipper.

Flowergirls were Brooklyn Gengler and Kenley Gengler, nieces of the bride.

Best man was Jonathan Schreiner, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Jeff Gengler and Curt Gengler, brothers of the bride, Neil Sheehan and Mathew Wuebben, cousins of the bridegroom, and Jordan Vaske.

Ringbearers were Brandon Gengler and Keegan Gengler, nephews of the bride.

Seating wedding guests were Craig Ahlers, Chris Nielsen, Tim Ruhland, and Nick Wurth.

The ceremony was followed by a reception and dance at the Avalon Ballroom, in Remsen.

Alisha graduated in 2009 from St. Luke's College and is a radiologic technologist at Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.

Nick graduated in 2010 from Northwestern College and is employed at Woudstra Meat Market in Orange City.

The couple took a wedding trip to Omaha. They are at home in Le Mars.
