Tuesday, January 15, 2013

LAWTON -- The Kingsley-Pierson boys basketball team could not get past eighth-ranked opponent Lawton-Bronson, dropping Friday's match up 76-43.

The Lawton-Bronson Eagles (13-0) took a decisive 18-9 lead in the first quarter and built off of this momentum for the remainder of the game.

K-P tried to fight back but could not pull any closer, going into half with a score of 43-20, Lawton-Bronson.

The picture remained much the same in the second half with the Eagles adding to their lead.

K-P senior Colin Henrich led his team in scoring with twenty-three points. He also contributed a team-high four assists. Freshman Jacob Harvey added seven points.

Defensively, Harvey racked up eight rebounds, followed by Henrich with six.

K-P dropped to 6-7 overall and will look to bounce back in a home matchup with conference rival OA-BCIG on Tuesday.
