The Blackhawk grapplers swept up 57-21 against the Sioux City West Wolverines, led by key come-from-behind victories by Blake Walton and Skylar Richter.
Walton, wrestling at 126, pinned Sioux City West's Chase Carrel in 5:37.
Richter, at 132, pinned the Wolverines' Marco Rojas in 2:32.
At 120, Cole Mills pinned Kaleb Sorensen in 1:38. At 138, Taylor Schroeder pinned Alex Kin in 3:55.
Jacob Vondrak (145) earned another pin for Hinton over Matt Benson in 4:40.
Werner Trieweiler (195) pinned James Ward in 2:57.
Zac Schreck (220) won by pin over Austin Svendsen in 5:15.
The Blackhawks' Quinton Robinson (152) won by a 10-6 decision over DJ Lusenbrink.
The Wolverines took one of their four wins by forfeit (106 - Adam Stark), one by decision over Hinton's Colin Poss (170 - Tyson Alles) and two by pins from Kris Donner (182) over Alec Wodtke and from Anthony Combs (285) over Keith VanEvera.
Hinton vs. Lawton-Bronson
A trio of pins and a decision win weren't enough for the Hinton matmen to oust Lawton-Bronson Tuesday.
They fell 44-33 to the Eagles at Lawton.
Cole Mills (113) pinned Lawton-Bronson's Isiah Caldwell in 0:23; Taylor Schroeder (138) pinned Alejandro Habeger in 5:53 and Werner Trieweiler (195) pinned Ethan Rader in 2:17.
Quinton Robinson (152) pulled out a 10-9 decision over the Eagles' Wyatt Brink.
Hinton took forfeit wins in 106 and 285 to get their 33-point total for the dual.
Lawton-Bronson had five pins for the evening: John Stephens (132), Drake McArthur (160), Brandon Thompson (170), Mitch Greene (182) and Ron Singleton (220).
The Eagles' Anthony Smith (126) won by technical fall over Blake Walton 21-2.
Lawton-Bronson picked up a forfeit win at 120, and the Eagles' Anthony Benson (145) won by 7-0 decision over Hinton's Jacob Vondrak.
The Hinton grapplers next hit the mats today at the Humboldt Invitational Wrestling Tournament.
