Rosella Wilhelmi was born June 11, 1927, at Struble, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Block) Wilhelmi.
She worked for Bell Telephone Co. in Le Mars, and transferred to California in 1951, where she retired with Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. in 1985, after 35 years of service.
She enjoyed swimming in her pool, bowling and shooting pool, and being with family and friends and her dogs.
Survivors include one brother, Frank and his wife, Colleen, of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; four sisters, Dorothy Peterson of Hawarden, Marian Bobzien, of Le Mars, Patricia Blum, of Owatonna, Minn., and Dolores Grady and her husband, Don, of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; a special friend, Erylene Tulley of Carmichael, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived two sisters-in-law, Marge Wilhelmi of Bellevue, Neb., and Patti Wilhelmi of Southington, Conn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, and one sister.
Memorial services and burial in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars will be at a later date.
