LBIC seeks new board member

The Le Mars Business Initiative Corporation (LBIC) Board of Directors plans to fill an at-large seat vacated by retiring board member Matt Washburn, of Le Mars.

Washburn has served as an LBIC board member for six years, including five years as board president.

All at-large positions are three-year terms.

The LBIC Board membership includes six at-large positions, four representatives of the city of Le Mars and four representatives of the Le Mars Area Chamber of Commerce.

People interested in serving on the LBIC Board are asked to provide a letter stating their interest and willingness to serve a three-year term.

The letters may be sent to the attention of LBIC Director Neal Adler at the LBIC, 50 Central Ave. S.E., Le Mars, and must be received by Monday, Nov. 26.

The board of directors will fill any open seats with an election in December.
