In recognition of American Diabetes Month, Floyd Valley Hospital will host a diabetes fair Monday, Nov. 12.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. in the lower level conference center of the hospital.
There is no charge and pre-registration is not necessary. The event includes vendor displays, give aways, educational programs and door prizes.
A diabetic spaghetti meal will be provided along with heart healthy frozen treats from Wells Blue Bunny.
The fair is offered as a way to provide education, information, and networking opportunities for area diabetics and community members, according to a press release.
A number of diabetes experts will be available at the fair to discuss meters, medications, insulin pumps, specialized shoes, and many other topics related to diabetes self-management.
