"The seniors had a great night," said Le Mars head coach Susan Irwin. "They played well together. The entire team hustled, which is our goal to start peaking at this time."
Le Mars (20-11, 5-1) topped Storm Lake (9-11, 1-5) 25-19, 25-16, 25-12.
"Everyone did their role tonight," Irwin said. "Game 2, we struggled with our passing and made the adjustments for game 3."
Pick was 23-for-25 serving with a team-high five ace serves. Kommes hit four aces on 19-for-19 serving. Sydney Rohde hit two aces on 8-for-8 serving. Thompson finished 12-for-12 serving. Ashley Phelan hit one ace.
Kommes made five digs. Phelan, Rohde and Emily Ellefson made two digs each. Thompson and Holly Schneider each made one blocks.
The Lady Bulldogs will compete in the Heelan Classic tournament in Sioux City this Saturday.
