REMSEN -- Remsen St. Mary's lost at home in straight sets Tuesday to War Eagle Conference leader, Unity Christian.
Unity (25-7, 9-0) won 25-3, 25-14, 25-6 over RSM (2-21, 1-9).
"We knew it was going to be tough, but the girls refused to let themselves get down," said RSM head coach Angie Brownmiller.
Lyndsie Schorg led the Hawks with 12 digs. Alex Brownmiller and Makenzie Ricke both made 11 digs. Miranda Staab and Katie Arens made six and four digs, respectively.
Staab made a team-best four kills in the loss. Schorg hit two kills. Ricke and Bretteny Brownmiller had one kill apiece. Paige Harpenau made five assists.
RSM's next match will be the opening game of regional play next Tuesday at Remsen-Union.
