Cayla is the daughter of Carl and Colleen Westergard, of Ireton. David is the son of Brent and Kathy Taylor, of Fort Dodge.
Matron of honor was Carissa DeRocher, sister of the bride, of Le Mars. Maids of honor were Caine Westergard, sister of the bride, and Cali Westergard, sister of the bride, of Ireton.
Bridesmaids were Angie McGrath, of Johnston, Elise Taylor, of Urbandale, Erin Taylor, sister of the bridegroom, of Memphis, Tenn., and Anna Taylor, sister of the bridegroom, of Fort Dodge.
Best man was Dan Taylor, brother of the bridegroom, of Denver, Colo. Groomsmen were Pete Segebart, of Denison, Adam Bianchi, of Chester, Calif., Brett McIntyre, of Des Moines, and Josh Bradley, of Destin, Fla.
Personal attendants were Mallory Bogenreif, of North Liberty and Meredith McKean, of Denver, Colo.
Seating the wedding guests were Matt DeRocher, brother-in-law of the bride, of Le Mars, Matt Owen, of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Jim Heldt, of Des Moines.
Liturgists were Anne Kassel of Minneapolis, Minn., and Greta Johnson of Des Moines.
The reception was held at the Sioux City Orpheum Theater immediately following the ceremony.
Cayla is a 2005 graduate of Akron-Westfield High School and a 2009 graduate of Iowa State University, earning degrees in journalism and family and consumer sciences. She is employed with Iowa State University Extension as 4-H Program Coordinator.
David is a 2005 graduate of Fort Dodge Senior High School and a 2009 graduate of Iowa State University earning a degree in chemical engineering. He is employed with Ashland, Inc. as an account representative.
The couple took a wedding trip to Maine and is at home in Windsor Heights.
