Casey and Taylor Halstead

Taylor Ann Driver and Casey Daniel Halstead, of Lincoln, Neb., were united in marriage June 9, 2012, at United Methodist Church of Le Mars. The Rev. John Battern officiated the 4:30 p.m. ceremony.

Taylor is the daughter of Brian and Sheri Driver, of Le Mars. and Casey is the son of Deann Halstead, of Merna, Neb., and Craig and Linda Halstead, of Arnold, Neb.

Glenda Drennen was pianist for the ceremony. The sand ceremony was conducted to Sugarland's "Stuck Like Glue."

Maid of honor was Kelsey Driver, of Sioux Rapids. Bridesmaids were Andrea Bertino, of Omaha, Neb., Michaela Rieken, of Wayne, Neb., Brittany Bloemendaal-Westhoff and Laura Hoffman, both of Le Mars.

Flowergirl was Austin Fowler, cousin of the bride.

Best man was Andrew Halstead, of Kearney, Neb. Groomsmen were Pat Gunther, of Lincoln, Neb., Christian Peterson, Patrick Mencke and Daniel Balderson, all of Wayne, Neb.

Ringbearer was Caleb Fowler, cousin of the bride.

Seating the wedding guests were Mason Farber, cousin of the bride, and Joel Teahon, cousin of the bridegroom.

The reception was held at the Brunsville Legion Hall immediately following the ceremony.

Taylor is a 2008 graduate of Le Mars Community High School. She is attending Wayne State College, pursuing a degree in early childhood unified education, and is a full-time student.

Casey is a 2008 graduate of Merna/Anselmo High School. He is a 2012 graduate of Wayne State College, earning a degree in computer science with a focus on networking. He is employed by MIPS, a division of Nebraska Association of County Officials.

The couple took a seven-day eastern Carribean cruise and is at home in Lincoln.
