Joyce Arlene Sanow was born March 25, 1932, in Remsen, the daughter of Otto and Olive (Peters) Sanow.
On Nov. 21, 1950, Joyce and Everett Gotto were united in marriage at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen.
Joyce loved puzzles, bingo, going to Vegas and was the biggest fan of her grandson's rock bank "Sanctified," and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters Debbie (Dennis) Seel and Dawn Grace; three sons Dave, Dean (Tami), and Darryl (Christine) 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Phyllis Sanow, Margaret Ideker, and Virginia Gotto; also several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Everett, a son, Don; sisters Maria, Virginia, and LaVonne; brothers Lawrence, Leslie, Harold, Delbert, and Elden.
Funeral services were held Aug. 23, at Queen of Heaven Chapel. Father Martin officiated. Burial was in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery at Rowland Heights, Calif.
