Lois L. Diehl, 71, of Pocahontas, died Saturday, Aug. 19, 2012, in Gilmore City, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Lois Lorraine Luft was born Oct. 19, 1941, at Iowa City, the daughter of Harry and Mathilda (Petersen) Luft. She was educated in Gilmore City schools.
Lois married Delbert Moore in Pocahontas. Delbert died in the mid-1970s.
Lois married Gary Miller in Storm Lake. Gary died in 1995. Lois married Claire Diehl in Pocahontas. Claire died in 2008.
Lois worked as an in-home health care provider.
Lois was a member of the Pocahontas Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid Minnesota Twins fan.
Survivors include her daughter, Rose (Chad) Stoline, of Jefferson; a brother, Larry (Arlene) Luft, of Le Mars; a sister, Carol Harris, of Fort Dodge; two grandchildren, Allison and Chase; and a special friend, Cliff Rohde, of Pocahontas.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands.
Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Regular Baptist Church in Pocahontas, with Pastor Tim Kuhn officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gilmore City. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church in Pocahontas.
The Powers Funeral Home of Pocahontas is in charge of arrangements.
