Swine risk management update sessions coming to northwest Iowa on July 3

Lee Schulz, recently named Iowa State University Extension marketing specialist, is featured speaker for two July 3 swine risk management update sessions.

The sessions will be held at Sheldon and Emmetsburg.

Schulz' presentation will focus on the current swine market situation and consideration of risk management factors.

It will also touch on gaining an understanding of the USDA's Risk Management Agency program and production planning for seasonal prices swings.

The workshops are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. July 3 at Northwest Iowa Community College, in Sheldon, and at 1:30 p.m. at Iowa Lakes Community College, in Emmetsburg.
