Nick and Kayla Maiers

Kayla Loutsch and Nick Maiers, of Cedar Rapids, were united in marriage Sept. 3, 2011, in a double ring ceremony at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Remsen. The Rev. Bill McCarthy officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

Kayla is the daughter of Steve and Rosie Loutsch, of Remsen. Nick is the son of Pat and Deb Maiers, of Holy Cross.

Maid of honor was Kendra Rensink, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Karen Behrens, sister of bride; Erin Van Waus; Jenna Frederes, and Carri Casey, sister of bridegroom.

The flower girl was Finley Behrens, niece of the bride.

Best man was Mike Barnhart. Groomsmen, who also served as ushers, were Eric Macholtz, Matt Klees, Mark Barrow, and Jason Loutsch, brother of the bride.

Ringbearers were Carson Loutsch, Parker Loutsch, and Cooper Loutsch, nephews of bride; and Ben Casey, Cole Casey, Jack Casey, and Owen Casey, nephews of bridegroom.

A reception was held at the Avalon Ballroom in Remsen following the ceremony.

Kayla is employed with Millennium Therapy as an occupational therapist.

Nick is employed by MSI Mold Builders as a CNC machinist.

The couple took a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico and are at home in Cedar Rapids.
