Erika Allen and Rob Ziegelmaier of Dubuque were united in marriage Sept. 10, 2011, at Faith Lutheran Church in Marcus. The Rev. Liz Pfiefle officiated the 3 p.m. ceremony.

Erika is the daughter of Scott and Jen Allen, of Remsen. Rob is the son of Jim and Kathy Ziegelmaier, of Peosta.

Music for the ceremony was provided by organist Faith Spect and soloist Alexa Groff.

Serving as maids of honor were Kayla Gengler, of Remsen and Abby Rassel, of Sioux City.

Bridesmaids were Angie Schrad of Littleton, Colo., Jenna Harpenau, Annie Miller, Laura Garvin, of Remsen.

Flowergirl was Taylor Groff.

The bride's attendants were Megan Hoffman, of Iowa City and Alexa Groff, of Wayne, Neb.

Serving as best men were Nick Brehm and Ben Brehm, of Dubuque. Groomsmen were Dan Schrad of Littleton, Colo., Ben Allen, of Remsen, Nick Welter and Todd Wolf, of Dubuque.

Braxton Allen was ringbearer.

Seating the wedding guests were Ryan Corkery, of Jesup, Marc Dierickx of Madison, Wis., Pete Lehmann and Justin Willet, of Peosta.

The reception was held at the KC Hall in Le Mars following the ceremony.

Erika is a 2008 graduate of Remsen-Union High School and a 2011 graduate of Northwest Iowa Community College with an associates degree in nursing. She is currently attending Briar Cliff University to obtain a bachelor's of science in nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Rob is a 2005 graduate of Western Dubuque High School, and a 2007 graduate of Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar with a degree in arboriculture. He is a 2009 Northwest Iowa Community College graduate with a degree in powerline. He is employed as an apprentice lineman with Maquoketa Valley REC stationed out of Peosta.

The couple is planning a Western Carribean cruise in early January 2012.

They are at home in Dubuque.
