Benjamin and Keshia Nashleanas

Keshia Kay DeRocher and Benjamin Michael Nashleanas were united in marriage by the Rev. Gary Snyder in a 2 p.m. ceremony June 18, 2011, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Sioux City.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Kris DeRocher of Le Mars. The bridegroom is the son of Troy and Kelly Nashleanas of Hinton.

Grandparents of the bride are Dick and Jan Schietzett of Le Mars, Bill Singer of Okoboji, and Bonnie DeRocher of Le Mars.

Grandparents of the bridegroom are Dennis and Janet O'Keefe of Yankton, S.D., Sue Robar and Greg Nashleanas of Sioux City. Great-grandmothers are Betty Behm of Janesville, Wis., and Marlys Nashleanas of Sioux City.

Maid of honor was Mandi Parker, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Brittany Cochran, Taij DeRocher and Sierra DeRocher, sisters of the bride. Flowergirl was Brecca Cochran, niece and godchild of the bride.

The best man, the bridegroom's friend and classmate since kindergarten, was David Young. Groomsmen were Adam Hageman, Brice Buryanek and Jaret Duran.

Ringbearer was Ryker Cochran, nephew of the bride.

Usherettes were Brooke Smalley, Cassie Lassen, Janelle Michaelson, and Morgan Bates.

A reception followed in Le Mars.

Keisha will graduate from Morningside College in December with a degree in elementary education and special education. She is currently student teaching in Iowa City. Keshia will pursue her master's degree in January 2011.

The bridegroom graduated suma cum laude from Morningside College with a degree in biology. Ben is in his first year at the University of Iowa's Dental School.

Ben proposed to Keshia on the beach in Florida. The couple took a Caribbean cruise for their wedding trip.

Benjamin and Keshia are making their home in Iowa City.
