Jeff and Alisha Jelken

Alisha Lieber of Lawton and Jeff Jelken of Merrill were united in marriage Sept. 3, 2011, at Community Presbyterian Church in Lawton. Pastor Cyndy Ripperger officiated the ceremony.

Providing nuptial music were Kate Jacobsen and Todd Peterson.

Alisha is the daughter of Rod and Jodi Lieber of Lawton. Jeff is the son of Randy and Jeanie Jelken of Le Mars.

Jody Murray of Charles City was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Shea Brown, Jodi Jacobsen, Sarah Anderson, Erin Roepke and Kate Jacobsen.

Flowergirls were Milania Lieber and Halleigh Lieber.

Best man was Mark Hartman of Merrill. Groomsmen were Dan DeVos, Dustin Lieber, Tyler Glenn, Biff Madsen, and Alex Jacobsen.

Ringbearers were Trey Madsen and Bransen Klohs.

Seating the wedding guests were Garrett Crowl, Jacob Crowl, Kyle Lieber, Cullen Haafke, and Ben Johnson.

The reception was held at the Stoney Creek Inn in Sioux City.

Alisah earned her bachelor of arts degree in elementary education with minors in social studies, and reading endorsement K-8 and 5-12. She earned a masters of education in adolescent literacy and technology. She is employed with the Sioux City Community School District at North High School teaching reading.

Jeff graduated from Le Mars Community High School and is self-employed and is a farmer.

The couple took wedding trip on an Alaska cruise and are at home in Merrill.
