He was born May 31, 1992, the son of Larry and Stephanie Schroeder.
Andrew had an undeniable zest for life. He loved to travel and had many friends all over the world. He had a sly smile and a huge, caring heart with a special place in it for his little sister, Jesslyn.
He was an accomplished swimmer at Omaha North High School, graduating in 2010.
He most recently attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he was an active member of Pi Kappa Alpha.
He is survived by his parents, Larry and Stephanie, Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Jesslyn; grandparents Denny and Linda Graff of Mason City, Mark and Jeanette Schroeder, of Le Mars, and Millie Breon; great-grandmother Karen Secory; aunts and uncles, Mark Graff, Tina Berger, Nicki (Stanley) Woolery, Ryan (Karen) Graff, Kay (Craig) Olson, Dean (Linda) Schroeder, Roger Schroeder, Alyce (Brett) Bell, Rick (Stacey) Schroeder, Vicki Emanuel; loving cousins, family, and friends.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Milo Bail Student Center on the University of Nebraska at Omaha campus.
The John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, 72nd Street Chapel, in Omaha, is in charge of arrangements.
