SIOUX CITY -- The Le Mars girls golf team finished fourth at the eight-team Sioux City North Invite on Monday.

Heelan won the tournament with a team score of 214. The Lady Bulldogs recorded a team score of 229, just one stroke back of third-place Sioux City East and three back of second-place North.

"I thought we were happy with the way we played considering it was a cold day out," coach Barry Borchers said. "We're young enough that we're just a few strokes from being where we could be pretty good, when our younger girls start getting a little more consistent."
