Lambert married Marianne Ducommun March 20, 1953, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. They farmed near the Sheldon community until they purchased their farm in Hartley in 1954. They continued to farmed on the family farm until their retirement and later sold the farm in 2002.
During their retirement years, they enjoyed wintering in Texas and Florida for a few years and then many years in Apache Junction, near Mesa, Ariz., where they met many friends and enjoyed time with his family.
