Muriel Puhrmann Penning and Lyle Koehlmoos exchanged marriage vows July 16, 2010, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Germantown. The Rev. Don Erickson officiated.

Included in the wedding party were Arlys Johannsen, sister of the bride, matron of honor; Douglas Koehlmoos, son of the bridegroom, best man. Lowell Penning, son of the bride, and Duane Koehlmoos, son of the bridegroom, were ushers.

Keith Koehlmoos, son of the bridegroom, was organist and Shelby Simm, great-niece of the bride, was acolyte.

A reception was held at the Community Center in Germantown.

The bride is a retired health care and elderly care giver. The bridegroom is a retired farmer.

Following a wedding trip to Frankenmuth, Mich., and Macinaw Island, the couple is at home on Lyle's farm west of Germantown.
