The City of Le Mars has set Sept. 9, 10, 16, 17 and 18 as the 2010 Fall Cleanup Days.
During those five days, the city is declaring an amnesty from the landfill disposal cost.
That means each household can bring up to 1,000 pounds per household of throw away material to the Plymouth County Landfill at no cost.
The cost will be paid by the City of Le Mars.
Only residential properties can participate in the cleanup days, not commercial or industrial properties.
The city will not be picking up the items at the curb. Households are asked not to place items in front of the house at the curb.
