Becka and Dijon DeLaPorte

Becka Neary and Dijon DeLaPorter of Brookings, S.D., were united in marriage May 30, 2010, at Jester Park Lodge in Granger. The Honorable Robert Hanson officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.

Becka is the daughter of Jeff and Kathy Neary of Merrill. Dijon is the son of Richard and Anita DeLaPorte of Jacksonville, Ill.

Zach Rus and Scotty Schuknecht provided nuptial music.

Amy Templeton of Des Moines was maid of honor. The bride's attendants were Megan Schiltz of Sioux City and Zach Rapp of Des Moines.

Best man was Sean Hayes of Jacksonville, Ill. Groomsmen were Derrick Manuat of Jacksonvillle, Ill., and Joe Kelley of Columbia, Mo.

Ringbearers were Kaden Rydell and DJ Fischer, cousins of the bride.

Seating the wedding guests were the bride's brothers, Andrew Neary and Micah Neary, and the bridegroom's brother, Travis DeLaPorte.

The reception was held at Jester Park Lodge, following the ceremony.

Becka earned her bachelor of arts degree from Simpson College in journalism and her master of science in education from Illinois State University.

Dijon earned his bachelor of science degree in psychology from MacMurray College, and his master of science in education degree from Illinois State University. He is employed as residence hall director at South Dakota State University.

The couple took a Caribbean cruise for their wedding trip and are at home in Brookings, S.D.
