Kara Krienert and Aaron Bouma of Le Mars were united in marriage July 17, 2010, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Le Mars. The Rev. Richard Sitzmann and the Rev. Kevin Richter officiated the 2 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Alice and Lyle Krienert of Le Mars. The bridegroom is the son of Don and the late Linda Bouma of Le Mars.

Organist was Linda Kleven who accompanied soloists Tim Pick and Jen Freking, aunt of the bridegroom.

Maids of honor were Abigail Krienert and Brittany Krienert of Le Mars. Bridesmaids were Jess Wendt of Sioux Falls, S.D., Angie O'Kane of Omaha, Neb., and Melissa Langel of Le Mars.

Brynn Wendt was flowergirl and Carter Juhl was ringbearer.

Chris Bouma served as best man. Groomsmen were Trevor Bouma, Payton Bouma, James Krienert and Clint Krienert, all of Le Mars.

Seating the wedding guests were Erik Wiltgen, Lance LeRibeus, Justin Freking and Cole Langel.

The reception dinner was held at 5 p.m. at the Le Mars Convention Center.

Kara is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa with a bachelor's degree in social work. She is employed with Pride Group.

Aaron graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor's degree in agricultural business. He farms land with his family.

The couple took a wedding trip to the Black Hills and are at home in rural Le Mars, near Oyens.
