Emily Krause and Brent Palsma of Le Mars were united in marriage Feb. 12, 2010, at Le Mars Assembly of God Church. Pastor Daniel Krause officiated the 6:30 p.m. ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Daniel and Julia Krause of Le Mars. The bridegroom is the son of Mark and Cheryl Palsma of Orange City.
Hannah Goemaat of North Dakota was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Samantha Cords, Tanya Bates and Danielle Wentz. Honorary bridesmaid was Kaylee Smith.
Flowergirl was Josie Sutherland.
Best man was Jason Palsma of Sioux City, with Jaydon Palsma, son of the bridegroom serving as honorary best man. Groomsmen were Todd Bates, Josh Goemaat and Jason Williams.
Ringbearers were Kurtus Palsma and Nathan Sutherland.
The reception was held at the Plymouth County Historical Museum following the ceremony.
Emily is a graduate of Le Mars Community High School, Western Iowa Tech Community College and Northwestern College, where she earned her degree in elementary education. She is a K-1 ESL teacher at Leeds Elementary.
Brent is a graduate of MOC-Floyd Valley High School and Western Iowa Tech Community College. He has a degree in agricultural business and is pursusing an H-VAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) degree.
The couple is at home in Le Mars.
