Alisa Jean Vogel and David Charles Utesch of Le Mars, were united in marriage Saturday, July 18, 2009, at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lohrville. The Rev. Jim Tigges officiated the 4 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Paul and Sharon Vogel of Lohrville. The bridegroom is the son of Roger and Sharon Utesch of Brunsville.

Maid of honor was Jenna Kacmarynski of Carroll. Bridesmaids were Sherry Vogel of Stanton, Diane Brennan of Emmetsburg, Laurie Rowe, Lisa Lancaster, and Dawn Utesch, all of Le Mars.

Flower girl was Katelyn Vogel of Lohrville.

Best man was Mike McLaughlin of Estherville. Groomsmen were Brian Utesch, and Brent Utesch of Le Mars, Mike Vogel of Lohrvil!e, Jim Weber of Minot, N.D., and Jason Nees of Coon Rapids.

Ringer bearer was Ethan Utesch of Le Mars.

Seating guests were Rick Brennan of Emmetsburg. Brian Rowe, Terry Lancaster, and Mike Berkenpas all of Le Mars.

The reception was held at the Lohrville Community Building.

Alisa graduated from Southern Cal High School in 2003 and is a 2009 graduate of Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, where she earned her RN and bachelor degree of science of nursing. She is employed at Cherokee Regional Medical Center as a RN, BSN.

David graduated from Le Mars Community High School in 2003 and is a 2006 graduate of Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Mo., where he earned his bachelor degree in agribusiness technology. He is employed at Western Iowa Coop in Pierson as an agronomist and outside operations manager.

The couple took a wedding trip to Maui, Hawaii, and are home in Le Mars.
