Colorful blankets covered the Gehlen Catholic School gym floor as families joined their students for the 12th Annual Catholic Schools Week Family Picnic. Area restaurants and fast food businesses enjoyed a brisk businesses as parents picked up food for the indoor picnic. Students, parents, grandparents and in some cases great-grandparents, gathered in main gym, lunch room and back gymnasium to enjoy time together. Sentinel photo by Beverly Van Buskirk
