Debbra Lyn (Hatton) Letsche died Friday, Jan. 8, 2010, from complications following surgery.
Debbie was born Feb. 24, 1954, in Ridgecrest, Calif., the daughter of Rullon and Ethyl Hatton. She graduated from Burroughs High School in 1972. She met her future husband, Tony Letsche, in Ridgecrest in 1970. They were married on Nov. 17, 1972. There first son, Loren, was born in Japan where Tony was stationed in the Navy. They had returned to Ridgecrest by the time their second son, Shawn, was born. They were later blessed with a daughter, Tami, who was also born in Ridgecrest.
Debbie was an outstanding mother and wife, a loyal and loving friend and a very generous and giving lady. She loved to crochet and do counted cross-stitch and many people have been blessed to receive her beautiful work.
She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and loved attending church and going to the temple in Los Angeles when she could. She was a lady of great faith who loved and trusted in her Heavenly Father and in the Saviour Jesus Christ.
Debbie will be missed by her family and many close friends.
She is survived by: her husband Tony Letsche; son Loren and his wife Sarah of Hawaii, son Shawn of Virginia, and daughter Tami and her husband, Chris Hill; grandchildren Bryce, Connor, Logan and Kylie Hill of Ridgecrest; mother-in-law Arlene Wolf of Remsen, Iowa and Debbie's niece Patti Arp and nephew Tom Arp.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Corky Arp.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, at the Ridgecrest meeting house of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Visitation was held at noon in the Relief Society Room with Bishop Mark Anderson officiating.
Holland & Lyons Mortuary handled the funeral arrangements.
