Both officials kept their asking amounts the same as those requested for the current 2009-10 fiscal year.
Fair
Terry Reuter, fair board president, requested $15,000, which is the amount the supervisors approved the last two years.
"We're pretty well known throughout the state as I think you guys know," Reuter said. "I'm hoping you can continue to support us whichever way you can and we have another successful year."
Historical museum
Judy Bowman, Plymouth County Historical Museum administrator, asked the supervisors for $8,000.
Bowman received $7,000 for the current fiscal year of the $8,000 request she made during last year's budget process.
Bowman said museum board members are calling 2010 the "Year of the Study Hall" because of intentions to renovate the study hall in the top floor of the museum.
Although plans are still uncertain as to how the area will be used, it probably won't be a permanent exhibit and may be used as rental space, Bowman said.
"We are also very aggressive on our fundraising and our programs," she said. "Overall the public has been very good to us."
The supervisors made no decisions concerning the requests but will consider the information provided as they continue through the budget process.
