This year's ball is being billed as a family event. The evening will include a children's movie in the Music Room for those wishing to bring children or grandchildren.
The evening in "Old Central" Gym will feature free non-alcoholic beverages and a variety of hors d'ouevres. Live music will be by the "Music Illusions." Doors will open at 6 p.m., with the music starting at 7 p.m.
A silent auction with contributions from Plymouth County businesses will fill the Gym lobby.
The museum will drop the ball from the Gym ceiling at 11 p.m. to conclude the evening. A grand door prize will be attached to the ball.
Tickets are now on sale at the museum.
The New Year's Eve ball has been one of the museum's major fund-raisers for the past five years.
